About The Position

This role is within the Hanley Energy Electrical LLC US Central Region reporting to the Corporate Safety Director. Prior training, certifications, and experience working with electrical contracting and construction spaces is required for this role..

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Mission Critical Facilities and a Datacenter environments
  • Advanced knowledge of Electrical Construction and manufacturing environments
  • Verifiable work experience within the construction industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Safety Management role
  • Proficiency with NFPA 70E required
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Professional approach to work with an attention to detail
  • Good team player
  • Be a self-starter and capable of working with minimal guidance
  • Strong team management

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Smartsheet is preferred
  • STSC, CESCP, CHST, are a plus
  • Train the Trainer Certifications for various equipment preferred
  • First Aid, CPR/AED instructor
  • OSHA 500 Outreach trainer

Responsibilities

  • Provide initial new hire training to include tutorial orientations
  • Develop and manage compliance certifications, training records, Energized Electrical Work Permits (EEWP), and periodic refresher training(s)
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for Ohio government compliance requirements including OSHA
  • Perform routine site audits to ensure compliance.
  • Assist personnel with pre-task plans and JHAs.
  • Provide and manage equipment training certifications such as Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP), Warehouse Forklift, All Terrain Forklift, Fall Protetion, and other various construction equipment.
  • Provide up to date NFPA 70E training and compliance
  • Interact with customers in Mission Critical Spaces
  • Comply with Company Standards of Conduct and all relevant statutory requirements
  • Travel to customer sites as required
