The Safety & Quality Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining programs that ensure a safe, healthy, and high‑quality work environment. This hybrid role integrates responsibilities across environmental health and safety (EHS), quality management systems (QMS), compliance, training, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can influence teams, manage data-driven systems, and champion operational excellence through proactive safety and quality culture. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Safety Management (EHS) – 50% Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), incident investigations, and root cause analyses; track corrective actions to completion. Lead safety audits, facility inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend controls. Plan and deliver safety training, including emergency response, hazard communication, ergonomics, and job-specific training. Manage workers’ compensation cases, claim reporting, and return‑to‑work processes in collaboration with HR. Maintain safety metrics, dashboards, and compliance documentation; analyze trends to drive continuous improvement. Support Total Worker Health initiatives and wellness programs that promote overall employee well‑being. Serve as a subject matter expert on safety standards, best practices, and regulatory updates. Quality Management – 50% Develop, monitor, and improve quality management systems (such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or internal standards). Establish and maintain quality policies, SOPs, work instructions, and document control systems. Lead internal quality audits and coordinate external audits by customers or certification bodies. Manage nonconformance reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with operations, Coordinatoring, and leadership to resolve quality issues and reduce defects. Oversee incoming and outgoing product inspections, testing procedures, and quality documentation. Analyze data to identify trends, quality risks, or process improvement opportunities. Develop and deliver quality training to support competency and compliance across the organization.
