Job overview Hughes General Contractors is actively seeking an experienced Construction Safety Coordinator to join our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) efforts across all construction operations. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs that ensure compliance with federal and state OSHA, EPA, and MSHA regulations. The Construction Safety Coordinator will provide strategic leadership, conduct risk analyses, partner with project teams, and help shape a Safety Strong culture across our organization. This is a hands-on, highly visible role that works closely with project managers, subcontractors, clients, and internal leadership. This role is not about compliance; it is about actively shaping safe behaviors, empowering employees, and committing to do work the right way!
