Our client is a leading food and beverage manufacturing company seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join their team. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial manufacturing (assembly/machine shop environment)
- Supervisory experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing facilities
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
- Excellent communication and training skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience or degree in safety management
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- CPE, CSP, or CIH certification
- Experience in food and beverage manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing, revising, and implementing safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance
- Partner with operations teams to evaluate work practices and recommend improvements to reduce workplace risks
- Lead incident reporting and investigation processes, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Develop and conduct monthly safety training for all associates, continuously improving program effectiveness
- Perform routine safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory safety standards
- Conduct targeted safety training programs and evaluate their effectiveness
