Position Overview: Coordinate driver safety requirements
Requirements
- Ability to conduct CMV driver safety instruction, operations instruction and training & container lift and yard truck instruction and training
- Good knowledge of FMCSR
- Complete understanding of FMCSR part 395- Hours of Service of Drivers
Responsibilities
- Conduct and coordinate new driver orientations
- Train and certify motor carrier client’s Driver Instructors and Driver Trainers
- Assist in recruiting qualified Owner Operators and Company Drivers
- Responsible for ongoing and corrective action driver instruction and training
- Assist with accident investigations and reviews
- Train and certify container lift and yard truck operators
