Safety Coordinator Pay: $24.00 - $26.00/Hourly Workplace Type: Onsite Schedule: Mon - Thurs; 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Who We Are With over fifty years of experience in the transformer services industry, Emerald Transformer is the premier solution for electrical equipment. Requirements

Interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective professional relationships with employees and managers.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively train and educate employees.
Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Safety software.
Understanding of federal, state, and city safety requirements including OSHA.

Responsibilities

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, minimize risks, and promote a safety culture throughout the organization. You will work closely with various departments and employees to identify potential hazards, develop preventive measures, and implement effective safety policies and procedures.
Conduct Safety observation reports on a regular basis.
Perform safety walks and audits daily to analyze safety risks.
Educate employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe machine operation.
Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.
Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident.
Maintain documentation of the company’s safety procedures, accidents, and related events.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines.
