Schedule: Hybrid / Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm. 1 day per week remote A Brief Overview Encourages and supports the adoption of industry safety best practices and tactics. Partners with stakeholders, Club Safety Team, Field Consultants, and Technical Training to deliver and deploy available content and best practices. Is responsible for identifying needs, configuring materials for ISP shop adoption in a variety of methods and platforms. Deploys, and delivers safety programs as necessary to encourage adoption. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to gauge adoption and additional needs. Incumbent is required to visit stakeholders, traveling within the AAA Northeast footprint up to 10-20% of time and performs a variety of activities to support a culture of safety at facilities or virtually in coordination with the Safety Team, Field Consultants, Technical Training and Automotive Leadership. Provide safety related training & materials available, performs observations, shares new technology and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • High School or GED required
  • Valid Drivers License required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in a related field preferred
  • 2-4 years safety related experience (DOT/OSHA) preferred
  • 2-4 years training adults in both classroom and virtual environments preferred
  • CPR / First-Aid / AED Trainer Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Works with Leaders, Field Consultants, Technical Training, and Safety Team to provide industry safety materials, training programs and best practices to facilities and technicians.
  • Supports the Stakeholders and Leaders as they work to encourage and support a culture of safety
  • Works under the guidance of the Club's Safety and Technical Training Team.
  • Leverages existing industry best practice safety content to deploy or deliver online, virtual, and in-person safety training and awareness programs for stakeholders.
  • Updates and configures training materials for virtual and in-person classes provided by the safety team through the LMS.
  • Uses technology, media, product information, and technical resources to make safety information accessible and engaging.
  • Delivers safety memorandums, bulletins, newsletters, audio clips, video clips, and other communications to promote ongoing awareness and notification.
  • Acts as a point of contact, coordinating and distributing safety information as needed.
  • Supports online, virtual, and in-person training as necessary, ensuring effective program administration.
  • Monitors and reports on the usage of safety LMS materials, manages enrollment, and tracks compliance with expectations.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting LMS "help" questions and providing timely assistance.
  • Consistently updates LMS safety courses, scheduled classes, and technician information to accurately measure and report on participation in various courses.
  • Partners with stakeholders to observe and gauge adoption, collecting feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provides leaders with relevant industry tools and best practices for shop and roadside safety procedures.
  • Supports safety culture through ongoing awareness and technician engagement, including field visits for training delivery and safety observations as requested.
  • Ongoing self-development to maintain knowledge and industry best practices including safety procedures, in vehicle technology, tools, equipment, regulatory requirements and PPE in conjunction with the Safety team.
  • Other duties as assigned, including a need to be flexible with shifting job duties and priorities, new programs, retiring programs, and team evolution efforts.
