About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing safety programs to create a secure work environment.

Requirements

• bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field preferred
• Proven experience in safety compliance management, preferably in construction environments
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, NEC guidelines, and EHS best practices
• Strong understanding of risk management principles
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols
• Experience with worker's compensation claims and management
• Proficient in construction management software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards
• Provide safety training to employees on various topics including OSHA regulations
• Investigate accidents and near- misses, and implement corrective actions
• Maintain records of safety inspections, training and incidents
• Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve processes
• Monitor compliance with local, state and federal regulations
