About The Position

ITnova is seeking a Safety and Regulatory Compliance Manager . This position is responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety, health, and regulatory compliance programs in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position ensures compliance with worker safety requirements while supporting operational environments. The role serves as a subject-matter expert for safety standards, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related disciplines.
  • Current Safety Certifications Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour and/or 30-Hour Certifications National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70 – National Electrical Code (NEC) Certification National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E – Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace Certification
  • Minimum five (5) years of safety, risk management, or related industry experience.
  • Prior experience of CCTV, Security systems, Access Control, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, Emergency Call Systems, and Audio/Visual systems.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements that govern worker health and safety.
  • Working knowledge of Ethernet networks including Wide-Area Networks (WANs), Local-Area Networks (LANs), and Wireless Local-Area Networks (WLANs).
  • Minimum (3) years of experience providing direct customer support.
  • At least three (3) years of management experience highlighting coordination, customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST, CIH).
  • Experience supporting safety and compliance in technology-driven or security-focused environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage safety and regulatory compliance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with worker health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Provide safety oversight for environments that include CCTV, Security Systems, Access Control, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, Emergency Call Systems, and Audio/Visual systems.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, including OSHA, NFPA 70 (NEC), and NFPA 70E.
  • Provide direct customer support related to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a safety and compliance subject-matter expert for management and stakeholders.
