What you get to do: As a Safety and Environmental Supervisor - you will Complete regulatory inspections of the hazardous waste facility, collection sites, UST/AST, oil/grease containers, generators and any other potential pollution source Complete regulatory monthly sampling and reporting Collect environmental data and enter into excel or other computer software Conduct park environmental training Assist with the development of EHS projects. Participate in EHS inspections throughout the park to ensure that all departments are in compliance with company, local, state and federal environmental regulations. Develop corrective action plans and ensures completion Attend department meetings and general EHS sensitive meetings Assist with any environmental clean up Participate in Safety Duty Officer program on a rotational basis Provide exceptional, professional guest service in a team environment. Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Ability to communicate effectively.
Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed
Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat.
Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities.

Nice To Haves

2 years of Environmental experience or education preferred
2 years of experience in EHS or a related field preferred
Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations preferred
Training in hazardous waste management, accumulation and transportation preferred
Ability to troubleshoot, or maintain/repair scientific equipment preferred
Theme Park experience preferred
Possession of a valid state driver's license preferred
Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License
Certified in RCRA, HazWoper, & UST/AST preferred
Ability to maintain a valid DOT physical card
Ability to meet company driving guidelines

Responsibilities
