About The Position

Develop, manage, and maintain environmental programs, permits, reports, and records, including ISO 14001, zero landfill, and sustainability initiatives. Implement and monitor environmental compliance programs (air, wastewater, stormwater, emissions, hazardous waste) and conduct related training, audits, and regulatory research. Oversee recycling programs, address plant environmental questions, and ensure continuous compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Support plant safety programs through incident investigations, audits, inspections, training, and OSHA reporting/log maintenance. Assist with industrial hygiene monitoring, support related projects, represent the company externally, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

5-7 years' related experience
Bachelor degree (or related experience)
Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
Must have valid driving privileges
Occasional travel and overnight stays (0-5%)

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor degree including chemistry knowledge or adequate experience in environmental and/or safety.
Regulatory background is desired along with knowledge of environmental regulations and computer skills.
Experience in process operations in a commercial or manufacturing environment relating to environmental management, air emissions, wastewater treatment and hazardous waste disposal are necessary for this position.
Industrial Hygiene experience is desirable.
