Because we value our employees, we strive to provide a competitive salary and benefits package.Job Summary: The Safety Coordinator is responsible for promoting and supporting the Company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. This role works closely with field teams to implement safety programs, conduct jobsite assessments, and ensure all employees follow safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in construction or jobsite safety preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in active jobsite environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to jobsites as needed.
  • Ability to walk jobsites, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry safety equipment and materials as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in construction or jobsite safety preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the Company’s commitment to workplace safety to all employees.
  • Assist in maintaining and enforcing the Company’s safety program.
  • Conduct routine jobsite safety assessments and inspections.
  • Assist injured employees and provide transportation to medical facilities when necessary.
  • Complete and assist with all required incident, injury, and safety-related documentation.
  • Conduct jobsite safety orientations for new employees.
  • Assist with performing and/or collecting documentation for weekly Toolbox Talks and On-the-Job Trainings (OJTs).
  • Ensure all employees have, understand, and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Issue written reprimands for safety violations as needed.
  • Identify, report, and document unsafe conditions or hazards on jobsites.
  • Prepare jobsite hazard analyses and take appropriate corrective action to abate hazards.
  • Attend and actively participate in all required company training programs.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
