About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for specific area supervision within the administrative staff of Operations and Tech Base to being efficient while supporting the various divisions in Operations. In addition to communicating needs with department team members as well as other departments, ensures the area is meeting the department standards of guest satisfaction, team member satisfaction and the department’s financial goals. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for supervising employees workflow, setting leadership standards, which includes hiring department personnel, establishing department policy and procedure, establishing department performance standards, administering department evaluations and disciplinary actions. Builds internal relationships within UO to ensure our employees are exceeding expectations. Maintains department statistics, including approval of final operating statistics, attendance counts and ride & show operating information. Maintains the confidentiality of UO operating information and ensuring the accurate, timely delivery of this information to appropriate company personnel. Prepares and ensures consistent reports based on departmental statistics delivered across UO. Provides facilities and equipment management. Maintains equipment inventory of computers, radios, cell phones, pagers and other supplies. Acts as the point person for facilities issues for Park & Resort Operations. Monitors labor standards and needs, and explains shortages and overages to Manager. Performs duties such as scheduling, maintenance of attendance records, and other related duties. Establishes department standard operating procedures. Ensures that department personnel are appropriately trained to perform SOP's. Responsible for the development of department personnel. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Business related field required.
  • 1+ years of prior leadership/supervisory experience required.
  • 1+ years clerical experience with 1+ years supervisory experience required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible with multiple tasks, able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Microsoft Office (Proficiency in Microsoft Excel).
  • Proficient with computers.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years previous call center experience preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience with SharePoint and Smartsheet.
