Requirements

Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position. American Sign Language is also an acceptable form of communication.
Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland Racing Commission required of all Racing Services employees.

Responsibilities

Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
Distributes horse saddle pads and head numbers to appropriate horsemen according to race schedule.
Retrieves and cleans horse saddle pads throughout race night.
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory.
Perform work with chemicals as instructed by product labels.
Report all maintenance issues as needed.
Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member relations.
Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.
Promotes outstanding horsemen relations.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
