About The Position

We are a fast-growing FinTech firm leveraging cutting-edge tech and quantitative methods in the derivatives market. We work with some of the world's largest hedge funds and asset managers, providing analytics and execution for relative value, volatility, and macro strategies. We’ve developed a market-leading IRD analytics platform. Large, established, and well-resourced hedge fund and market makers use our analytics platform to identify market opportunities. After proving the value and product market fit of our analytics platform we are now accelerating its rollout. This will be one of the most important roles we are hiring for at SilverTide. You will be working directly with our CEO, VP of Operations and Strategy, Head of Quantitative Analytics. You will be responsible for selling the analytics platform as well as onboarding and training new users. Our clients are hedge fund PMs and strategists seeking opportunities within IRD markets.

Requirements

  • You’re highly technical in at least one of IRS / listed F+O
  • You have experience in engaging with sell side and buy side clients – this is who you will be talking to on a daily basis
  • You’re relentless with a go-getter attitude, our clients are busy – you will need to capture their attention
  • Driven and motivated to learn, build, deliver and engage with the team
  • You have ambitions to grow and scale a sales team
  • You’re ready to roll your sleeves up in a growing fintech start-up.

Responsibilities

  • Selling the analytics platform to new clients (20% of your time): · Our target client list is established, and we have key connections at the ready - you will need to demo the platform to clients to sell additional licenses.
  • Onboarding and training clients (70% of your time). Practically you will need to: · understand your users and their market analysis approach; · train them on the platform in a way tailored to their market approach; · communicate weekly with users to ensure they are capturing maximal value out the platform.
  • Based on the above, you will develop the best practice for selling and onboarding users, as well as inform our product development efforts (10% of your time): · This will include regular experimentation work with our VP of Operations and strategy; · Product feedback and alignment with our head of quantitative analytics; · Other ad-hoc projects depending on performance (Hiring additional sales staff in the US & Asia; automation wherever possible).
