About The Position

The Role and Impact As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a pivotal role in Intel's Assembly and Test Technology Development team, contributing to the production, optimization, and innovation of cutting-edge semiconductor products. Working hands-on with advanced manufacturing equipment, you will ensure high-quality output while driving improvements in efficiency and reliability. Your work will directly impact Intel's ability to deliver world-class technology solutions to global markets, making you a key contributor to our company's success and industry leadership. Key Responsibilities Perform functions associated with wafer production, including equipment operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training. Operate, maintain, repair, and calibrate manufacturing equipment to meet production standards and customer specifications. Collect and analyze operational data, conduct adjustments to equipment settings, and ensure process optimization. Execute quality control checks on raw materials and final products to meet established standards. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment using technical manuals, schematics, and drawings. Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency. Collaborate with Engineering to support equipment installation, qualification, and process improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot nonstandard events in the production line and recommend solutions to improve stability and efficiency. Log production data and maintain documentation as per Standard Operating Procedures. Communicate pass downs to the next shift and document factory system updates to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and 1+ year of Technical Certification or related trade school.
  • OR High school diploma/GED and 2+ years military technical experience.
  • OR High school diploma/GED and 1+ year in related equipment maintenance experience.
  • OR Associate of Science degree (STEM) with 6+ months of experience required.
  • Depending on the level of education obtained the listed amount of experience will be required in the following areas as well:
  • Experience in using basic hand tools and fixtures for equipment maintenance.
  • Experience with cleanroom protocols and safety standards, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Experience as Die Prep technician with a minimum of CMS
  • Must be willing to work CWW night shift (S6) Wednesday-Friday e/o Saturday 1900-0730
  • This role is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months of experience with Die Prep/Wafer Assembly tool sets and software.
  • Current contingent worker for ODP Die Prep organization (CMS)
  • Knowledge of electromechanical systems, including robotic drives, actuators, and microcontrollers.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Competency in computer navigation and Microsoft Office applications.
