About The Position

Purpose of the role To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, compelling visualisations and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), data insights and trends across various business units. Join Barclays as a detail-oriented and technically skilled RWA Management Analyst. In this role, you will be developing and implementing cutting edge Interactive Power BI Dashboards for RWA reporting and analytics. You will be supporting RWA calculations, monthly reporting, forecasting, new deals assessments, and ad hoc analysis to support ECM, Acquisition, Collection strategies. You will apply best practices in data wrangling, cleansing, and enrichment to support scalable analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the organization. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams within Credit & Data Analytics (CDA), and with Finance, Risk, Modeling and Technology organizations.

Requirements

Experience in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Data Science
Advanced skills in Excel
Experience developing interactive dashboards (PowerBI or Tableau)

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Python, AWS, and SAS
Good understanding of Credit Card products
Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

Design and development of comprehensive reports and dashboards utilisng best practices in data visualisation principles and design aesthetics to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
Design, development and implementation of automated report generation processes and visualisation methodologies for improved efficiency and timeliness.
Identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format.
Maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including co-ordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.
Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data, performing exploratory data analysis & data cleansing and seeking signoffs as required.
Engagement with stakeholders as needed to ensure up to date data is incorporated into reporting and visualisations.
To perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement.
Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in their assigned area of expertise
Thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise
