About The Position

This full-time RVT II / Vascular Technologist II / Ultrasonographer position is with Vascular Associates in Albany, NY, part of St. Peter's Health Partner's. The role involves performing all types of vascular examinations offered by the practice and working independently across assigned locations and shifts. The Vascular Technologist II is also expected to serve as the ultrasound technologist for ablations and other vein procedures. The position is located at 319 S. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY.

Requirements

• Education, training, and experience in vascular sonography
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and career long learning (e.g., continuing medical education in vascular technology, obtaining higher education, participation in research, etc.)
• Must be eligible to obtain ARDMS certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for image acquisition and report generation

Responsibilities

• Perform all examination types offered by the practice
• Work independently at all assigned locations and shifts
• Work as the ultrasound technologist for ablations and other vein procedures
