About The Position

Barracuda Networks is looking to hire an RVP, Americas Sales, this role will report to the SVP, Americas Sales. In this leadership role you will be responsible to drive sales growth through our partner channel. You will lead a focused sales team that shows up each day with passion to help end user clients leverage Barracuda solutions to protect and secure their business, fulfilled either through our channel resellers, sell-through partners or Managed Services Providers (MSPs). You will work closely and collaborate cross functionally with sales engineering, marketing, partner success, and product management to develop and implement strategies and tactics to drive top line revenue growth through. Requirements

  • 10+ years of software sales experience, with 5+ years in sales leadership
  • Long-term Strategy: Ability to develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals
  • Market Understanding: knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, market trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Scalability: Experience in scaling sales teams and processes as the company grows
  • Forecasting and Pipeline Management: Expertise in sales forecasting and managing a robust sales pipeline.
  • CRM Proficiency: Strong experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other sales tools.
  • Change Management: Ability to lead through change and adapt strategies in response to evolving market conditions.
  • Resilience: Demonstrated resilience in facing challenges, setbacks, and competition in the sales landscape.
  • Partnership Development: Ability to build and sustain strategic partnerships that drive sales growth

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a high-performing sales organization, reinforcing a culture that prioritizes client success, accountability, and measurable results
  • Ensure the recruitment and retention of top talent, focusing on improving employee engagement and satisfaction to better serve our clients
  • Utilize a metric-driven approach to assess current client engagement and set ongoing goals to boost overall client satisfaction and revenue growth
  • Manage complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and executive‑level negotiations
  • Build and maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline hygiene
  • Establish and refine sales processes, methodologies, and KPIs
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Finance to drive growth
