Hourly Full-Time: Physical Location: Bedford Family Practice AND Warsaw Family Practice The Job You Will Perform: Uphold CCMH’s Core Values of: Respect, Compassion, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence Responsible for the overall administrative and clinical (if appropriate) direction and management of the department, this employee facilitates the development and delivery of excellence in service practice by evaluating and coordinating the services delivered Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to direct the services appropriate for the patient/family population being served Integrates the department's services with the hospital's primary functions Supervise and oversee the functions and staff for areas of responsibility, as applicable Develop and implement training programs to meet the training needs of clinic staff and the organization as it relates to Quality/patient outcomes Communicate effectively both orally and in written form with all levels of internal and external customers, including providers Contribute to policy and procedures consistent with Hospital, state and federal regulatory guidelines Assure that department is following regulatory and accreditation standards. Provides timely follow-up to corrections of any identified deficiencies Participates in the patient complaint/grievance process and complies with Carroll County Memorial Hospital policy/procedures as well as The Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) grievance guidelines Assist Carroll County Memorial Hospital in complying with external regulatory requirements such as CMS Conditions of Participation (CoP) Provides for orientation, in-service training and continuing education for new hire orientation

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant required
  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience
  • Minimum of 5 years ICU/ER level of care required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Dependable, self-directed and pleasant. Adaptable and flexible to meet patient/family and department/facility needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems

Responsibilities
