About The Position

Crown staffing is hiring for a Runner (Order Filler) with-in Hollingsworth at our Schertz, Texas location! Our client's site is working with various automobile parts onsite that we are packaging! Second Shift- 4pm-12:30am Monday-Friday (OT and weekends dependent on client needs) Rate - $18.00 hourly Paid weekly on Friday

SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW: Employee’s primary responsibility is to ensure packaging materials and equipment are staged to the production line prior to order packaging.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand work orders as well as packaging specs
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to demonstrate full understanding of production flow process
• Ability to identify all parts, packaging material, and equipment in accordance to their description and number
• Ability to identify damaged or non-conforming stock.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe and clean work environment.
• Review work order BOM and identify packaging material and equipment needs.
• Ensure packaging material and equipment meet safety and quality standards.
• Pick packaging material and equipment from designated locations and stage them on the production line.
• Follow FIFO and pick packaging material as well as equipment to the correct amount.
• Respond to Line Leader and Packager requests for needed packaging materials and equipment.
• Return any unused packaging material and equipment to designated areas upon completion of the order.
• Audit production lines at the end of shift to ensure material is put away.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
