About The Position

The Cold Drink Relief Driver's primary function is to deliver fresh, quality Coca-Cola products to vending machines and small businesses. The relief driver will be in training and/or servicing established routes during vacancies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• 0-3 years of general work experience
• Ability to repetitively lift, pull, and push 50 lbs.; bend over, reach above head height and kneeling
• Work with minimal supervision; be a self-starter, team player and have the motivation to learn
• Be reliable, honest & trustworthy
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Operate and maneuver a pallet jack with a weight load of approximately 2500 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and excellent driving record are required

Nice To Haves

• Local delivery experience preferred and/or 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for checking inventory levels on truck against customer invoices
• Responsible for operating a Non-CDL 8 Bay Delivery Truck
• Must be able to safely and correctly operate a company vehicle under all types of circumstances, including intercity travel and maneuvering in the close confines of customer facilities
• Responsible for collecting money, making change & recording transactions
• Ability to resolve customer issues with courtesy and sound customer service skills
• Maintain inventory levels and stock a high volume of product in soft drink vending machines
• Ability to service multiple customers throughout the day
• Subject to working outdoors in the elements (high/low temperatures, rain, sleet, snow etc.)
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned
