About The Position

Valiant is looking for a RSOI&R Work Group Leader to join our team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates large tactical vehicles, busses, forklifts, dually trucks, gooseneck trailers, refrigerated trucks and UTVs to transport personnel, cargo, fuel and ammunition over specified routes to local or distant points according to requirements. Supervises/ Loads and secures cargo ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and vehicle capability. Supervises/Performs operator level inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment. Supervises/Performs various ammunition warehousing duties to include accountability, storage, delivery, and distribution of ammunition, and various Aerial Resupply tasks to include pallet building, loading, delivery, and recovery from designated airfields and/or drop zones and parachute recovery. Assists Shift Leader and Division Lead in direct Supervision of employees, assigns tasks and ensure compliance with Federal, State, Ft. Polk, Valiant Regulations and policies. Performs other duties in accordance with Mission Support Requirements as directed. Othe duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Class A CDL license. Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries. Individual must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, will be subject to random drug screening. Must be able to work shift work, holidays and weekends. Must obtain a HAZMAT CDL and Tanker endorsement within 60 days of hire, as duty requires. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Possess CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements. Leadership background. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Individual must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, be in good physical condition, and able to work outside.
