The RPG Developer is a subject matter expert in at least one system or application. Ability to answer questions from business partners. Primary responsibility to be development/programming. Provides analysis, design and development and support UAT. Create flow charts for technical and process analysis so that the project team can understand the data flow. Technically lead and mentor other developers to produce error-free development. Effectively communicate with business users, and perform process improvements, configuration changes, day to day user activities. As part of production support, analyze issues with a quick and long-term solution. Utilizes teamwork on quick solutions while still validating the long-term solution. Serves as a contributor and member to project teams in the applications area. Supports the business community in monitoring and enhancing the performance of business applications.

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 8 years of experience.
  • RPG ILE/Free Form development experience.
  • iSeries/AS400 experience (DBU, Hawkeye, RDi, SEU).
  • DB2/i database experience.
  • Embedded SQL/SQL programming experience.
  • Retail industry knowledge.
  • Experience with Retail/Merchandising products (e.g., Blue Yonder/JDA MMS preferred).
  • Knowledge of at least two merchandising modules (e.g., Master data management, purchase order, receiving, demand, replenishment, forecast, pricing, costing).
  • Strong analytical skills.
