About The Position

Aeon is looking for an experienced property management professional to join our team as a Roving Property Manager. This role requires strong leadership, financial and business skills, problem-solving, and a commitment to excellent customer service. The Roving Property Manager steps in to support properties when there is no Property Manager or when extra help is needed. This role helps keep daily operations running smoothly and reduces disruptions during staff changes. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, guiding on-site staff, and making sure all core property management tasks are completed. When a new Property Manager is hired, the Roving Property Manager may stay on site to help train and support them. The Roving Property Manager reports to the Portfolio Director.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading property management teams is required.
  • Experience with affordable housing programs (such as Section 8 or Tax Credit).
  • Proven track record of preparing, understanding and managing budgets as well as increasing net operating income is a plus.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing or significantly impacted by mental health, substance use, poverty, and trauma is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in interpersonal communication that is culturally responsive, ensuring consideration for differing needs and expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain positive resident relations resulting in strong resident retention.
  • Must be a resourceful, problem solving, relationship-building, seeker of excellence, with a commitment to Aeon's mission.
  • Solid and proven work ethic with the ability to use good judgment, prioritize and execute wide-ranging workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a commitment to learning and participating in Aeon's diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts .
  • A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance is required.
