About The Position
To support daily transportation operations. The role consists of but is not limited to the following duties: building and adjusting routes, supporting drivers in real time, communicating with customer service and warehouse teams, and maintaining a level of professionalism during heightened periods of service. As an important role in Kuna’s dock-to-door process, you will spend most of your time in DirectRoute and TargetNet, learning how to balance efficiency with service windows, equipment and on-the-road realities.
Nice To Haves
- DirectRoute and/or TargetNET experience
- Foodservice distribution or multi-stop routing experience
- DOT/compliance awareness (Hours of Service, Driver Vehicle Inspections, Safety Standards)
- Experience working with drivers and warehouse teams
Responsibilities
- Build and adjust daily delivery routes in DirectRoute and TargetNET
- Dispatch drivers and solve real-time issues (delays, re-routes, hot shots, returns)
- Coordinate with warehouse/dock/truck builders and spotter teams on daily route plan and dock assignments.
- Track route exceptions, changes, and operational notes accurately.
- Stay Organized.
- Help protect on-time service, route efficiency, and driver support standards.
