Job Summary: The Route Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily route operations within a warehouse with food & beverage distribution environment. This role ensures route drivers execute accurate, timely deliveries while maintaining product quality and safety standards. The Route Supervisor also assists Customer Service Managers (CSMs) with operational support to ensure efficient and compliant distribution.

Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse operations, food & beverage distribution, route supervision, or logistics preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on product accuracy and quality
  • Ability to lead and support drivers in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills for reporting, inventory verification, and documentation
  • Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures
  • Ability to lift, move, or assist with product handling as needed
  • Flexible schedule to support route operations, including early mornings or extended hours

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support route drivers to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
  • Verify delivery accuracy, including correct products, quantities, and documentation
  • Ensure proper handling of food and beverage products in compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Monitor route performance and address issues related to delays, shortages, or damages
  • Assist Customer Service Managers (CSMs) with daily operational tasks and coordination
  • Enforce company policies, DOT requirements (if applicable), and warehouse safety procedures
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management
  • Help with route adjustments, coverage, and workflow planning as needed
