About The Position

This position is responsible for assembling product both inside and outside our facility along with material handling inside our facility. Some of the positions responsibilities are: Perform a variety of assembly operations for subassembly production orders. Perform assembly of hoist and other mechanical components. Assist with layout, aligning, fit and assembly of cranes both at subcontractors and in house. Assist with set-up and performing Factory Acceptance Test and tear down after completion. Assist with prepping product for shipping and load out of equipment. Assist with material handling activities in our warehouse. This includes putting product away and picking orders when needed. Complete the proper paper work on non conforming material when discovered during incoming inspection or during the assembly process. Follow all safety rules and regulations. Follow all policies and procedures for the department. Requirements

  • Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes as they relate to crane production is desired.
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have 3+ years experience working in a manufacturing operation in a factory floor setting.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes is required.
  • Ability to travel in the local area to all our assembly location.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of crane manufacturing is a plus and is preferred.
