About The Position

The Route Planner & Analyst is responsible for developing efficient route plans for restaurant bulk oil deliveries using routing software. This position will identify and ensure Restaurant Technology’s assets and drivers are utilized to maximize efficiency and provide on-time delivery. This is a customer-focused position requiring professionalism, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and schedule flexibility.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
Flexibility to assist with PTO coverage

Nice To Haves

Technical or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field
Experience with routing software (ORTEC, Oracle)
CRM experience, preferably Salesforce
2–5 years of data analysis and/or order processing experience

Responsibilities

Review previous day’s routes and communicate any issues to local depot management
Locate and resolve any missing or incorrect delivery invoices
Resolve incorrect customer data through analysis
Set up and apply routing parameters for new customers
Resolve any depot distribution discrepancies
Follows up on customer data issues to ensure they are being addressed
Communicate effectively with field management to ensure markets distribution needs are being met
Utilize routing software to generate efficient route plans
Work alongside IT to ensure system is working properly
Analyze trends and past performance to improve process and gain efficiencies
