Essential Job Summary: The Route Analyst is responsible for the coordination and utilization of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers. Additional responsibilities include the execution and delivery of safety, customer experience, and efficiency. Collect, interpret, and analyze various types of logistics data including inventory, asset reliability, and other route data to make decisions that increase overall routing accuracy. Assist/lead Route Optimization projects and route integrations. Understand missed pickup, service commitments, and efficiency goals and help meet or exceed expectations related to those goals. Implement a set of repeatable dynamic route strategy principles to guide your thinking when building routes. Daily route maintenance, updating customers’ geocoding and maintaining proper sequence to improve routing efficiencies. Follow all required safety policies and procedures. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or related field. Experience in waste management field a plus. Three to five-years of experience in logistics or related field with responsibility for improving route efficiency Experience with routing software, logistics/supply chain ERP systems strongly preferred. Travel to all company site locations required in NY, NJ, and CT Proven ability to communicate information to all levels of the organization Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
