Requirements

  • Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two‑ and three‑syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one‑ or two‑step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand'. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision and depth perception.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to assist route persons in decreasing garments and ‑unloading trucks.
  • Ability to audit towel counts on one route per day to verify proper count.
  • Ability to remove mops from racks for washing
  • Ability to assist with general clean up around plant if necessary.
