Overview Summary: Supports the department performing various manual labor tasks to construct, maintain and restore natural gas well leases. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains a clean and orderly work area to promote ease of access to equipment and safety for personnel at construction site on a daily basis. Collect construction debris and trash. Monitors cleanliness and functionality of tools and equipment. Works with other field employees to learn specific skill sets needed for promotions. Assists in the repair of equipment and machinery. Provides relief to others as needed. Operates light machinery and equipment as required. Performs general labor at construction site to include pipeline/flowline construction, production facility construction, meter run installation, repair leaks, remove and erect fences, install gates, dig and fill holes and trenches, set and dismantle forms, mix and pour concrete, assemble and disassemble wellhead equipment and pipe, paint equipment and structures. Qualifications Qualifications: Education Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience A minimum of 6 months related experience. Other Requirements Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Willingness to learn while on the job. Valid driver’s license. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. Frequently required to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. Close vision, distance, vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus are required. Work Environment Regularly required to work near moving mechanical parts; and exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles; and risk of radiation. Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work in high, precarious places; exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock. Noise level in work environment is usually loud.
