About The Position

A Roustabout Foreman will be responsible for the completion of daily field tasks, working safely and proficiently. Various duties include leading a crew on-site construction and maintenance, wellhead tie-ins, cleaning of tanks and vessels, fence building and another other miscellaneous work that may arise. A Roustabout Forman must be prepared to work in all weather conditions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead onsite safety and roustabout work for a crew Perform facility maintenance, repair and construction Complete tasks using proper hand and power tools Operate backhoes, skid-steers, telehandlers, man lifts and other equipment Drives crew truck and is responsible for safely transporting tools and equipment per company policy Performs daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance Coordinates vehicle and equipment maintenance with Supervisor Mentors employees that are working with them Communicates between supervisors and company representatives Verifies work is lined up for the next day and has all tools and equipment needed Inputs daily field tickets to accurately track crew time, equipment usage and materials Comply with all safety policies, codes and regulations to protect the safety and health of all employees. Other job duties, as assigned by management Required Skills Proficient use of hand and power tools Knowledge and ability to install and repair valves, pumps and motors Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Report to work as scheduled Must have a valid driver's license Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must have and maintain a clean driving record and meet the insurance requirements Must be able to develop and maintain strong work relations with team Must have effective communication skills Excellent Organizational skills and attention to detail Must be willing to work as needed, including nights and weekends Must be able to build trust and promote a positive safety culture Must be able to life 75 lbs and hand physical demanding work Must be adaptable to changing field conditions and operational demands Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening, participate in the random testing pool and remain drug & alcohol free throughout employment Must pass a motor vehicle record check and background check Qualifications The requirements listed in this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required and must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment This job operates in an outside environment. The role routinely works in all weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme cold, heat, wind, rain, etc. This job may also require physical exertion, exposure to dust, noise and potential hazards associated within a manufacturing/construction site. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours, after hours and weekend work as job duties demand. Licenses & Certifications Valid Driver's License Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Experience operating forklift/skid steer preferred.
