About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated Rough Finisher to join our 5th shift team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for finishing and refining metal castings used in critical components. Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or operator role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to meet production deadlines and work with a sense of urgency
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks over extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-production environment
• Capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Perform belt and stone finishing on metal castings
• Refine and remove visual imperfections to meet quality standards
• Operate buffing equipment and perform gauging as required
• Ensure dimensional accuracy using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other tools
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer and company specifications
• Accurately record daily work and follow routing instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Support team operations and take on additional tasks as needed
