About The Position

AMA provides technical support to the U.S. Army’s Technology Development Directorate (TDD) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. This work supports the development, application, and advancement of high-fidelity modeling and simulation tools used in Army rotorcraft acquisition programs, including Future Vertical Lift (FVL). Advanced tools such as CREATE-AV Helios and RCAS are applied to analyze rotorcraft aerodynamics, structural dynamics, and acoustics. These efforts directly contribute to improving aircraft performance, reducing technical risk, and enhancing the safety of current and future Army rotorcraft systems. About the Project: The Rotorcraft Modeling and Simulation Engineer will support Army rotorcraft engineering efforts through the application, development, and verification and validation (V&V) of advanced modeling and simulation tools. The position involves close collaboration with government and contractor teams and contributes to high-impact engineering decisions in rotorcraft design and acquisition. Work location will be at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Pay for this position is approximately $108,000 - $118,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and includes a competitive benefits package.
