About The Position

We are looking for a Rotational Operations Manager to join us on our journey to facilitate a digital revolution in the B2B supply chain. This role is designed as a rotational position to develop future leaders who can support business needs across regions and operational functions. The individual in this role will gain a comprehensive understanding of Vorto’s operating model, including driver and carrier management, execution and dispatch, fleet utilization, safety and compliance partnership, and performance management. Upon successful completion of the rotational program, the individual will be placed into a permanent role based on business need and demonstrated capability.

Requirements

  • 25% travel into the field - company or leased vehicle provided
  • Oil & Gas industry experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, word)
  • Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task projects and required tasks in an organized fashion
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as self-motivated in individual projects
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written to all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • 7-10+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet operations, dispatch, or related operational roles, or equivalent military leadership experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with operational technology, automation tools, or workflow systems strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading people or projects in an operational environment preferred
  • Prior Oil & Gas industry experience required

Responsibilities

  • Complete rotational assignments across regional logistics, fleet, dispatch and SuperPilot, and area operations
  • Own daily operational execution during rotations, meeting service, utilization, cost, and driver satisfaction targets
  • Lead carrier engagement through onboarding, coaching, issue resolution, and retention efforts
  • Partner with safety, compliance, and training teams to uphold DOT and company standards
  • Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and service reliability
  • Conduct field assessments, route reviews, and site readiness evaluations, and support standard work execution
  • Support regional leadership with market insights, capacity analysis, and operational planning
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on operational priorities and performance metrics
  • Participate in Carrier recruitment efforts
  • Coordinate with HSE & Compliance Manager for risk & communications with drive teams
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned
