The Rotational Analyst Program s a full-time rotational program located in Carnival Cruise Line’s Miami, FL headquarters designed to provide selected candidates with an in-depth experience rotating across three areas of our business over a total of 18 months. Selected candidates will sharpen their analytical and project skills while gaining real world experience in the cruise line industry. The goal of the program is to fast-track individuals into a successful career at Carnival Cruise Line with the knowledge and professional insight gained through this unique experience. After the 18-month program is complete, analysts transition into full-time opportunities at Carnival based on the experiences gained over the 18 months. The ideal candidate must demonstrate: · Completion of bachelor’s or master’s degree from a fully accredited university in engineering, naval architecture or related technical fields, such as marine engineers, project management majors, and electrotechnicians · Professional interest in Marine Industry: Dry Docks, New Builds, Marine or Engineering · Experience in analytical projects and demonstration of strategic planning/project management skills · Experience leading teams to successful outcomes, whether via course projects, internships, or personal endeavors · Strong and clear communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of a professional organization · Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and basic understanding of or interest in acquiring further analytical or project management skillsets · Driven, polished, collaborative, and a team player attitude 18-month program made up of three 6-month rotations within, though not limited to, the following areas: Examples of Rotations Offered: New Builds · Manage schedules and tracking for shipyard deliverables · Analyze data to help drive decisions for space allocation and development · Partner with Design, Operations, Consultants and Technical partners to develop drawings Hotel Refurbishment & Dry Docks · Support upcoming dry dock projects including large scale ADA conversion projects · Partner with Design and Operations to review drawings and ensure all requirements are incorporated Marine Operations · Participate and help support the Fleet Operations Center · Analyze data to support Marine ops team’s needs · Support the HESS audit process through reporting and documentation Technical Operations · Support the ops team to help maintain technical systems onboard · Develop and maintain dashboards to help support project and financial management Carnival Corporation & plc is a global cruise company and one of the largest vacation companies in the world.
