HydroChicago, IL

About The Position

Rotating Equipment Rebuild Team Lead (Centrifugal Pumps) Compensation: $35.00–$45.00 per hour, plus a 5% shift differential A day in the life When the shop doors roll open, you’ve already met with the shop superintendent to review priorities. You translate those objectives into clear assignments for your crew, match tasks to due dates, and verify each custom job’s traveler and requisitions are in order. Before noon, you’re on the floor leading a complex teardown—documenting findings, measuring to spec, and preparing a solution-based work scope. In the afternoon, you’re mentoring newer mechanics through reassembly techniques, confirming QA/QC steps are followed, and updating management during a quick production/sales huddle on job status. You wrap the day by ensuring pumps are ready to ship, logging safety observations, and making sure the building is secured for the evening. About Hydro, Inc.
