About The Position

Ready to keep a plant running at full speed? At Process Equipment and Controls (PEC) , we’re looking for a TIG-capable Millwright to support a manufacturing facility in Harwell, GA . This is an on-site, facility-based position with minimal travel where you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with plant operations and PEC’s maintenance team. What you’ll do Own TIG welding tasks (MIG and stick are a plus). Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical systems . Service pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, bearings, motors , and more. Perform precision alignment, leveling, and installations for rotating assets. Fabricate/modify components, brackets, and fixtures. Follow structured, step-by-step troubleshooting to get to the root cause fast. Read and apply blueprints, mechanical diagrams, and equipment manuals . Collaborate with operators and PEC leadership to keep work safe and efficient. Consistently use PPE and uphold high safety standards. Work independently or as part of a strong maintenance crew. What you’ll bring 2–3 years of Millwright or Industrial Maintenance experience. Demonstrated TIG welding proficiency on stainless and carbon steel. Hands-on mechanical know-how in assembly and repair practices. Comfortable with blueprints and mechanical schematics . Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs . Willing to work overtime as production needs arise.
