About The Position
CSS Wind, a division of the CSS Industrial Group of Companies, is currently hiring experienced Rope Access Blade Repair Technicians to support wind energy projects across Canada. This role involves performing inspections and composite repairs on wind turbine blades using rope access techniques. This is a travel-intensive position, requiring flexibility and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Requirements
- IRATA or SPRAT Rope Access Certification
- Full GWO Certification (BST, ART, BTT)
- Experience in blade repair, composites, or similar mechanical work
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Team player with good communication
- Valid driver’s licence with a satisfactory record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to travel extensively across Canada
- Physically capable of performing job duties
- You must be legally allowed to work in Canada.

Responsibilities
- Perform Category 1–5 blade repairs independently
- Conduct internal and external blade inspections and defect analysis
- Repair fiberglass and composite components (blades, nacelles, hub/nose cones)
- Com plete time tracking via Daily Work Report (DWR) and submit detailed repair documentation to Operations Manager & Engineering
- Train and mentor junior technicians (Level 1 & 2)
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements
