Job Summary: The Rope Access Level 3 Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing rope access operations in compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. This role involves supervising a team of rope access technicians, ensuring job site safety, conducting inspections, and performing hands-on technical work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in rope access, strong leadership skills, and the ability to problem-solve in high-risk environments.

Requirements

  • SPRAT Level 3 certification (current and valid).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial rope access work.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel and work in various environments, including offshore and confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and necessary industry certifications (e.g., OSHA, TWIC, HUET, ETC.)

  • Experience in industrial coatings, or mechanical services is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise rope access teams on various projects, ensuring compliance with SPRAT standards.
  • Plan and execute work-at-height operations, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Conduct pre-job risk assessments, toolbox talks, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
  • Act as a safety representative, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform hands-on technical tasks, including various surface preps, industrial coatings, or mechanical repairs as required.
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and documentation of rope access equipment.
  • Train and mentor Rope Access Level 1 and Level 2 technicians, promoting skill development.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, safety checks, and equipment usage.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and project stakeholders.
  • Respond to emergency situations and perform rope rescue procedures when necessary.
