Rooms Division Internship Program: Internship students will be immersed in the multi-faceted Rooms Division and our culture of creating enriching experiences at Loews Hotels & Co. From 24/7 guest service to seamless housekeeping, our Rooms Division team plays a critical role in the Heart of the House and Front of the House, delivering memorable hospitality every single day. The Loews Hotels & Co Rooms Division internship has 4 enriching components: Learning Plan Mentoring by a Loews Leader(s) Reflections Value-Added Experiences Experience working with: Front Desk, Concierge, VIP Services, and Groups Housekeeping and Laundry Engineering Recreation Systems/ standards/reports used within Room Division Based on student experience and program requirements, we also offer an insight into management and leadership tasks. Learning plans include: Guest service standards across different areas including Front Desk, Concierge, VIP Team Overview of Housekeeping operations Shift opening and closing procedures Opera and more Upselling and group standards, management meetings etc. Advanced learning may include exposure to supervisory duties, understanding management reports etc. Value-added internship experiences include immersion in Loews culture by experiencing our organizational programs focused on Team Member Engagement, DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), and Learning & Development. Mentors will provide: Helpful professional feedback and support during your experience. Exposure to leadership tasks Understanding management reports in Housekeeping and Front Office Interns will be responsible for completing their weekly reflections in order to capture their learning and maximize the mentoring experience What You Bring Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited, US-based college or university, and be in good academic standing, in order to apply for an internship. Positive attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn Desire and ability to work with others collaboratively Excellent communication skills – both oral and written Exceptional guest service skills Effective management, leadership, and organizational skills with a focus on details quality and consistency Ability to work flexible schedule to include some weekends and holidays NOTE: If your campus has specific internship requirements (semester dates, projects, hours/week, etc.) please let our Talent Acquisition representative know at the time of our campus visit and/or interview.   • Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited, US-based college or university, and be in good academic standing, in order to apply for an internship.
