Rooms Division Manager is responsible for Housekeeping, Front Office, PBX, Guest Relations and Resort Activities.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping management
  • Minimum of one year of experience in front office management
  • Must be highly proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills such as data entry, email management, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with HotSOS, property management system highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a profound understanding of how departmental operations intricately impact and contribute to realizing the property's overarching financial objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve or exceed budgeted goals
  • Utilize financial tools to improve department profitability, control expenses, and enhance productivity
  • Review staffing levels to align with guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives
  • Utilize on-the-job training tools to train new team members and provide ongoing training as required
  • Ensure fair and consistent administration of policies within the rooms division
  • Oversee disciplinary procedures and documentation, ensuring compliance with established policies
  • Implement innovative strategies to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and quality resort wide
  • Monitor daily operations through tools such as HotSOS and REX to optimize productivity
  • Actively participate in Inventory Management Meetings to contribute to effective resource allocation and expense control
