About The Position

MANDARIN ORIENTAL PARIS is looking for a Room service Supervisor to join our Room service Team. The hotel boasts 135 rooms, Restaurant Le Camélia, Bar 8 and one of the most beautiful and extensive Spas in Paris. Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Room Service Department in Paris, the Room service Supervisor will oversee and be personally involved in all operational aspects of a particular shift to assure all service steps are followed. He will monitor guest orders to be delivered efficiently and in a timely manner and maintain the In Room Dining area organised under the guidance of the respective managers.

Requirements

Be thorough, organized, attentive, and courteous.
Hospitality industry diploma
Good interpersonal skills.
Successful experience of 2 years as a Chef de Rang in hospitality industry
Initiative and enthusiasm.
Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Prepare the setup according to established standards to welcome guests.
Serve meals in rooms.
Check on guest satisfaction.
Follow up with various hotel departments (kitchen, reception, housekeeping, etc.).
The In-Room Dining Supervisor is responsible for the service provided in our rooms and suites during the night.
They must have a perfect knowledge of the menu and dishes and maintain close contact with our guests.
Assist the Manager and their assistant in supervising the team.
