About The Position

The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms and common areas at Tolovana Inn. This position ensures that all rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. The Room Attendant will be responsible for preparing rooms for new guests and ensuring that all amenities are stocked and in good condition. Attention to detail is paramount, as the role directly impacts guest satisfaction and the reputation of the establishment. Ultimately, the Room Attendant helps create a welcoming and pleasant environment that encourages guests to return.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
  • Basic understanding of safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Restock room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
  • Assist in the cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and recreational facilities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
