About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse in charge of the department, the room attendant assists the nurses in providing quality patient care of the hands-off type. This includes passing ice, water, towels, wash cloths, making beds, turning beds down, cleaning/tiding up rooms, etc.. The room attendant also interacts with other departments, performs cleaning, and restocks supplies, all under the direction of the professional nurse. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High school graduate or GED preferred but not required Minimum Experience Ability to obtain Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification within 6 months. Required Registration/License/Certification N/A
