About The Position

This position is a Room Attendant, summer hire for the 2026 IHG Army Hotels Teen
Academy for qualified teens.

We are looking for energetic and conscientious teens that are interested in
working this summer at IHG Army Hotels – JBSA.  Our goal is to introduce you to
the world of hotels and hopefully spark an interest in a career in the
hospitality industry.  You will help us provide excellent service to our guest, work in the various hotel departments, and at the same time earn a generous
paycheck.

Requirements

• You must be in one of the following three categories: The relative of a current IHG Army Hotels - JBSA Colleague.
• The dependent of a JBSA DOD employee.
• The dependent of a JBSA Military Service member.
• You must be between the ages of 14 - 17 as of the program start date.
• This job requires the ability to perform the following:  Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and or pulling approximately 200 pounds
• Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
• Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility
• Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling
• You must be able to get on post everyday workday.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside our Room Attendant team to clean and service our guestrooms.
• Work alongside our Houseperson team to clean public areas, bathrooms, trash removal, and restocking of housekeeping carts.
• You will work in the laundry facility to understand the process flow of the hotels’ linen.
• You will work in the breakfast facility to learn about food prep and service.
• Participate in field trip activities.
• Join in community service activities.
• Complete an essay review of your Teen Academy experience.
