About The Position
We are looking for Room Attendants to join our Team! The Fairfield Inn & Suites® by Marriott Buffalo Airport, is conveniently located across from Buffalo Airport with free airport shuttle service, you’ll also be 3 miles from Walden Galleria Mall and less than 10 miles from Downtown Buffalo. Our Fairfield has 140 beautifully appointed guest rooms, and we serve complimentary breakfast buffet to all our guests. The Fairfield by Marriott/Buffalo Airport is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. A Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our guest rooms and suites. Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
- And most importantly an engaging personality.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
- Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
- Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
- Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
