About The Position
We are currently looking for Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping Team! Our 125 all suite Homewood Suites -Beachwood, is located near shopping and dining, off I-271, a short walk from dining options. We offer our guests our free five-mile shuttle covering shopping at Pinecrest, Beachwood Place Mall, Legacy Village. The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Beachwood is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. A Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our guest rooms and suites. Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
- And most importantly an engaging personality.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
- Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
- Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
- Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
