Responsible for guest room cleanliness & sanitation Essential Job Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Responsible for the cleanliness of assigned number of rooms on a daily basis Cleans and sanitizes guest bathrooms of assigned rooms Changes linens and makes beds Detailed and general cleanliness (sanitation) of entire guest room, to include dusting, vacuuming Sweeps and mops bathroom floor. Sanitation of bathtub/shower, sink area, toilet. Replenish amenities and towels Checks under mattress and under bed for dust, forgotten items, etc Cleans mirrors; Disinfects doorknobs, remote, telephone Makes sure all rooms have a “Do not disturb” sign; compendium and/or guestroom collateral are replenished and in good condition Sprays air freshener in room Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. The employee may be expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description Maintain a safe work environment for co-workers and a safe hotel for guests; please refer to Section 7.0 in the Associate Handbook for specific examples.
